Our technology startups, which are supported under the Turcorn 100 Program and possess global scaling potential, represented our country at VivaTech 2026, one of Europe’s largest and the world’s most prestigious technology events. Carried out under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, this giant organization—marking one of the most important milestones of the National Technology Move—took place between June 17–20, 2026, in Paris, the capital of France.

Hosting over 200,000 visitors from more than 165 countries, over 15,000 startups, and more than 2,500 global investors managing billions of euros in funds, VivaTech 2026 served as a critical hub for Turkish startups to expand into international markets and develop strategic partnerships.

Global Visibility and Cultural Diplomacy with the "Turcorn Lounge" Concept

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Presidential Investment Office, Turkey participated in this prestigious organization with the "Turcorn Lounge" concept, established in a special 135-square-meter area. In this exclusive zone, our startups had the opportunity to hold one-on-one (B2B) business meetings with global investors and deliver pitch presentations on a dedicated stage located within the area. These presentations made on the Turcorn Lounge stage were broadcast simultaneously on the official website of the VivaTech organization, allowing them to be followed worldwide. Furthermore, as part of Turkish hospitality, traditional Turkish delicacies, Turkish coffee, and tea were served to foreign investors visiting the area, conducting cultural diplomacy activities.

Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır on the "Sovereignty Arena" Stage

To strengthen the global brand awareness of our startups, our Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, also attended the event. In addition to visiting the Turcorn Lounge area, the Honorable Minister featured as a speaker at 15:30 on the Sovereignty Arena, one of the main stages of the fair. Within this scope, Turkey's technology entrepreneurship ecosystem was introduced to the world, and the Türkiye Tech Visa Program—which makes it easier for innovative foreign startups to establish companies and obtain work permits in Turkey—was strongly announced in the international arena.

On the evening of the event's first day, a prestigious reception was held at our Paris Embassy, bringing together representatives of our Ministry and participants of the Turcorn 100 program.

Representing the Directorate General of National Technology and Artificial Intelligence of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, a delegation consisting of Director General Mr. Sadullah UZUN, Deputy Director General Mr. Kadir DİKİLİ, Head of Department Mr. Fahri DAĞLAR, as well as Industry and Technology Expert Bilgesu Özden EFE and Expert Mert ÇELİKSOY, was also present at the event.
